MY INDIAN VISA

Well here it is , valid 6 months until 9 march,2011.That s it now, all I have to do now is wait.I have decided not to take any of the treatments mentioned in my last post,because I have been told that for the regions I will be visiting it will be more bothersome than useful(himalayas in november, Rajhastan in december).The only possibility of malaria could occur in Kerala,but not at that time of the year.The malaria mosquito is at its most virulent just after the monsoons.

Ya lo tengo,con 6 meses de validez hasta el 9 de marzo,2011.Asi que ya esta, lo unico que me queda por hacer es esperar. He decidido no tomar ninguno de los tratamientos que mencione en mi ultimo post, porque me han dicho que para las zonas que visitare sera mas problematico que util (himalayas en noviembre, Rajhastan en diciembre).La unica posibilidad de malaria podria occurir en Kerala, pero no esa epoca del año. El mosquito de malaria es  mas virulento despues del monzon.

PASSPORT OUT OF MY HANDS

Today, I finally stuffed my passport with 3 rather fetching photos, an honestly completed form , a photocopy of the fee and sent it all via courier to obtain my indian tourist visa(6 months).Although it is finally the actual embassy that issue the visas, it is a  private company to  which the embassy have outsourced the actual appliction process.I believe the same happens in the UK.According to their web site I should have the passport back within 15 days,with a visa lasting 6 months starting from the day of issue( not the date of entry).I shall post when I recieve it and you ll be able to see what one looks like, providing I can work out how to post pics(ALISONNNNN!!!!!!).In the next few days I am going tofind out if I am going to  be an Aviclor, or Nivaquine
man and let you know my decision.


Hoy, porfin meti 3 fotos muy apuestas,un impreso honestamente completado,una fotocopia de la tasa y lo mande todo por mensajeria para obtener mi visado de turista con duracion(6 meses).Aunque al final es la embajada que da los visados, es una compania privada que delega la tramitacion.Lo mismo sucede en el UK. al parecer.Segun su pagina web deberia tener mi pasaporte de vuelta dentro de 15 dias, con un visado que dura 6 meses empezando la fecha que se emitio(no la fecha de entrada).Lo bajare cuando lo reciba y podrais ver como es,siempre que me entere como bajar las fotos(ALISONNNNN!!!!!!!).En los proximos dias voy a ver si voy a ser un hombre Aviclor o Nivaquine y os lo dejare sber.
